Prabakaran in case he is captured alive from the narrow strip of land where is widely believed to be hiding, according to reliable sources. India has been renewing the request for extradition of Prabakaran, a proclaimed offender in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, at every available opportunity and this was done during a recent visit of Foreign Secretary Shivshankar Menon to Sri Lanka.
