When Indians walked the streets of London or went to their work places, everything to them was so British. Super stores stocked everything that was British and European. Indian goods were frowned upon by English shopkeepers.

UK Tourism chiefs issue foreign etiquette advice ahead of London 2012 Olympics

Daily telegraph reported that "Tourism chiefs have drawn up a list of cultural differences to give Britons a crash course in not offending foreigners when they visit London for the 2012 games."

Barack Obama, Tiger Woods, Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta are among the 201 global hotshots vying for a slot in history. Voting is currently underway for US-based Time magazine’s 2010 list of ‘100 Most Influential People in the world’ and the five Indians on the list are — Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, actors Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta and author Chetan Bhagat.
While the Time website recognises King Khan as “one of Bollywood’s richest men, with an estimated net worth in excess of $500 million”, the cricket Lord has been named the “the greatest batsman of his — or arguably any — generation”.
